Caroline Trustey is currently in the PhD program in Counseling and Counselor Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to UNCG, Caroline completed a Bachelors in Neuroscience and Behavior from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an addiction specialization from Marquette University. She is passionate about working with and empowering adolescents and adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. She utilizes a holistic, strength-based approach. Caroline has experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings, as well as working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
In her free time, Caroline enjoys running, reading, cooking, and eating. She can often be found with her nose in a book and a treat in her hand.
