Ilene Fisher, MS, LCMHC
Ilene received her BA from the University of Kansas in Human Development and Family Studies and continued her studies to earn her M.Ed in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts in 2003. In 2006, she became a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and now has over 15 years of experience working with the childhood population in early care settings, conducting social skills groups, and completing home visits. In 2015, she completed a professional school counselor certification program. This motivated Ilene to become a volunteer to serve as a Special Education surrogate parent for Guilford County Schools. Her expertise is with children 10 and younger. She prefers to utilize a mixture of CBT, sensory and emotion focused, family work with her clients. When she's not working, she enjoys scrapbooking, being outdoors, and spending time with her young (but not for long) children and husband.
