Katharina L. Sanchez, MS, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Master of Science degree in 2007 after changing career from teaching foreign languages to follow her heart. Katharina works with individuals, couples and families of diverse cultural background. She is fluent in Spanish and has a long experience working with Latinos. She is also fluent in Polish and German, all signs of her multicultural history. Among her specialties are depression, anxiety, difficulties with the acculturation process and its impact on families. Katharina is certified in hypnotherapy and is passionate about using hypnosis to attain recovery from trauma (certified specialist in hypnosis and PTSD), panic attacks, dysfunctional habits, weight loss, and for pain management.
