Molly Adams, LPCA, is a licensed professional counselor associate at Family Solutions in Burlington, NC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. With experience in college, hospital, and community settings, Molly’s clinical interests include trauma, adjustment challenges, grief, depression, and relationship concerns.
Molly is nonjudgmental and empathic as she walks alongside clients on their path toward positive personal growth. While maintaining focus on current concerns and changes, she helps clients gain insight from past experiences that will help them shape new ways of doing and thinking. In addition to this psychodynamic lens, Molly also utilizes person-centered and Gestalt approaches, both of which aim to help clients get in touch with their whole, authentic self. Molly helps clients find understanding and experience greater satisfaction, balance in life.
Molly loves free time! When she has it, she enjoys exploring new hobbies, biking, cooking and laughing. . . so much laughing!
