Anita Faulkner, LCMHCS is a licensed clinical mental health counselor supervisor at Family Solutions, where she brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting both clients and fellow clinicians. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Community Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

At Family Solutions, Anita leads clinical supervision for the Alamance Child First teams and provides supervision for clinicians working toward licensure. She is passionate about mentoring and empowering new professionals as they grow into confident and effective counselors.

Anita’s clinical work spans children, adolescents, parents, and families, with an emphasis on trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. She has provided care across diverse settings—including office, in-home, and school-based environments—and integrates a range of specialized treatment models. Her areas of expertise include Incredible Years, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Child First, reflective supervision, and early childhood interventions.
