Ken McPherson, LCSW, graduated with his Master of Social Work degree from UNC-
Chapel Hill in 2000. He has over twenty years of experience providing mental health
services to youth and their families, and in recent years, his practice has involved
extensive work with court involved youth. As Clinical Director at Family Solutions, he is excited to help new therapists obtain full licensure and develop their professional
identifies.

Ken is a lifelong learner and truly enjoys using his knowledge and skills to
collaboratively assist people with achieving their goals and working toward their
preferred futures. To this end, he incorporates ideas from a variety of approaches,
including MATCH, CBT, TF-CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Systemic Family
Therapy. In his free time, Ken enjoys hiking and running on local trails and spending
time with his family and their two dogs Lucky and Toffee.
