Hi! I am happy to be a representative of Family Solutions as your Child First Clinician. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in helping children and families navigate the challenges in life while building attachment and healthy relationships. I hold a Specialist degree in Counseling and Education Psychology from the University of Missouri and a Masters in Community Mental Health from University of Central Missouri. I have been in the field for 9 years after 14 years as a Family and Consumer Sciences/Childcare teacher. Prior position I held was as a Preschool Teacher. Children and Families have been the focus of my career journey for a combined 28 years.

My experience as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor ™ has allowed me to build a large toolbox of interventions that complement the Child First model. Encouraging parents to play and delight in their children is a passion of mine as I fully believe that the adult in the room can provide much needed support for children as they navigate life’s ups and downs. When we begin working together, it will be clear that my intent is to support your family and encourage hope, healing and connection free of judgement.
