Kristy is a dedicated Family Resource Partner and Community Builder with Family Solutions, serving on the Alamance Child First team. She brings over 18 years of experience in early childhood education, childcare coordination, and program administration.
With a strong commitment to mental health and family advocacy, Kristy provides psychoeducation and support to families navigating complex challenges. For the past decade, she has focused on working with children and families experiencing trauma, significant stress, and limited resources, using a trauma-informed approach to foster resilience, healing, and long-term stability.
In her role as a Community Builder, Kristy is passionate about creating meaningful connections across the community. She actively collaborates with local businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, and faith-based groups to share the mission and impact of Alamance Child First, ensuring families have greater access to support and resources. She lives by the belief that “we are better together,” a value that guides both her professional work and community engagement.
Kristy is a strong advocate for inclusion and is committed to ensuring that all children...regardless of their unique needs...have the opportunity to thrive. She strives to create a supportive environment where families feel heard, empowered, and connected.
Outside of her professional role, Kristy enjoys spending quality time with her four children and values the importance of strong family connections—something she brings into her work with the families she serves every day.
