Maddie Wyatt, MSW, LCSWA
Maddie Wyatt graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her Master’s in Social Work. She came to the Child First program with clinical experience supporting children and their caregivers with weight-based mental health concerns in an interdisciplinary pediatric clinic as well as experience working with adults with disabilities as a guardianship social worker. One of her favorite parts of Child First has been the emphasis on holding the relationship between child and caregiver at the center of everything. As a student in the PrimeCare for Youth program at UNC-Chapel Hill, she received specialized training in her passions of trauma-informed care and early childhood mental health intervention. Dedicated to serving rural areas, she is grateful to be bringing trauma-informed mental health services to youth and families of Alamance County. When not working, Maddie enjoys volunteering in the performing arts and enjoying the outdoors in small doses.
